Responsible Leadership

We strive to be a recognized leader in our industry, pushing the entire graphic communications field to a more responsible present and a more sustainable future. That’s why we’re the only California member of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership. It’s why we support protection of our world’s environment and why we support the Portraits of Hope initiative with donations of environmentally friendly inks.

It’s also why Image Options actively supports the Trash for Teaching program by providing scrap substrate and materials to teachers for reuse in local classrooms. It’s why we operate with complete transparency when it comes to our supply chain resources and our clients. And it’s why we seek out the latest technologies to reduce our impact and why we readily share our research and knowledge with anyone interested—including our competitors. We believe the closer we can all get to more sustainable and responsible practices, the better off we’ll all be.

Continual Quality Control, Improved
Sustainability

We don’t limit the idea of “quality control” to a single department leaping to attention at a specific interval in the workflow progression. Instead, we view quality control as everyone’s job at every single stage of the process. That means—along with ensuring on-time and on-spec delivery—we continually uncover the efficiencies in materials and process that reduce environmental impact while never compromising audience impact. Those efficiencies save our customers money and quickly add up to literally tons of raw materials that never need to be produced and are never a threat to end up in the landfill.

Image Options’ Ongoing Sustainability
and Responsibility Pledge

Affirming our commitment to a more sustainable and responsible present and a brighter future for all of us, Image Options pledges to:

  • Perform ongoing research, self-examination and continual process improvement to reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Provide transparency to our customers, community and industry by posting periodic reviews of our environmental performance to our website.
  • Invite our supply chain to help us improve our environmental performance through collaboration and testing of new products and materials.
  • Offer alternative materials, processes and media to produce final projects with less environmental impact whenever possible.
  • Maintain an active recycling program that focuses on reuse and measurement in our manufacturing and office environments.
  • Maintain a “Plan-Do-Check-Act” management system.
  • Maintain an outreach program on environmental issues with our clients, community and industry.
  • Encourage internal participation in environmental best practices through regular education and training of Image Options’ employees.

Envision with us.
